Victorĭa, Pflanzengattg. der Nymphäazeen. Einzige Art V. regĭa, einjährige Wasserpflanze einiger südamerik. Flüsse, mit kreisrunden, bis 2 m im Durchmesser haltenden, schwimmenden Blättern, großen (über 30 cm im Durchmesser), weißen Blüten [Abb. 1919] und kopfgroßen Früchten mit eßbaren Samen (Wassermais), in besondern Gewächshäusern kultiviert.
